Installing JDeveloper 11.1.1.5


Installing JDeveloper
Version: 11.1.1.5
Operating System: Red Hat Linux (Fedora 16)
Steps:
1.       Download JDeveloper from Oracle site.
2.       Now start installing from the software by entering the following command in terminal.
./JDeveloper.sh


3.       Select path of the Middleware home where JDeveloper needs to be installed.



If already a Middleware Home is existing then select Use an existing Middleware Home option
If Middleware home should be changed then select Create a new Middleware Home option and then click Browse or just type the path.
4.       Now choose the products and components to be installed and Click Next to continue.


5.       Now select JDK


 6.       Now check the product installation paths and click Next to continue installation or click previous to modify the options provided till now.


7.       Now check the summary page in the installation wizard for the options provided till now.



8.       Installation in progress




Click done to start JDeveloper.

Installing SOA Extension in JDeveloper:

Download SOA Extension for JDeveloper from Oracle site.

1.       For installing SOA extension Click Help ->Check for Updates option from Menu


2.       Click yes to continue checking for updates or No to exit update wizard.



3.       Click Next to continue.



4.       Now click on Install from Local File as we have already downloaded the SOA Extension.


5.       Now select the SOA Extension for JDeveloper (.zip file) by clicking Browse button.


  Click Open to continue.
6.       Click Finish to finish installation.




7.       Click yes to exit the updates wizard.
