Installing Weblogic Server


Installing Weblogic Server
Version: 10.1.3.5
Operating System: RedHat Linux (Fedora 16)
Steps:
1.       Open terminal and go to the path where the software is downloaded.
2.       Type ./wls1035_oepe111172_linux32.bin



3.       Now the installer will get extracted and it will continue its installation process.



4.       Click Next to installing weblogic server.

5.       Enter the Middleware home (which will store all the SOA related files )
Either click Browse to select already created Middleware home or just type the path required which will get created by installer if the path is not available.

6.       After providing the path click next to continue.


7.       Click on the option displayed to get security updates from Oracle and provide the Oracle support username or email id .If security updates are not required ,uncheck the option and click Yes in the warning popup


8.       Click Next to continue.


9.       Select Typical to install default options or click Custom to select the packages to be installed.


10.   Check the path for all the products and components and click Next


11.   Check the summary and if something to be modified then click previous button to edit the options else click next to continue.


12.   Installation in progress.


13.   Check the option Run QuickStart and Click done to run QuickStart for configuring weblogic domains or uncheck the option Run QuickStart and click done to exit.
